Several parts of Bengaluru will face scheduled power outages on Monday, June 24, 2025, due to essential maintenance work, the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has announced. The outages are part of a planned shutdown for annual maintenance of the 66/11 kV power stations, aimed at enhancing the efficiency and safety of the distribution network. Power supply will be disrupted in select areas between 10 am and 5:30 pm, depending on the progress of the work, BESCOM said.
Authorities have urged residents and business owners in the affected areas to plan accordingly and make necessary arrangements in light of the scheduled outage.
The maintenance work is being carried out by the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) in coordination with BESCOM.
For updates and details on the affected areas, residents can visit BESCOM’s official website or follow its social media channels. The utility provider has also urged consumers to report any unplanned outages beyond the scheduled window via its helpline or mobile app.
