Point guard Childe Dundao (169-PG-1998) had a great game in the last round for Atletico Petroleos de Luanda, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 26-year old player got a double-double of 12 points and 11 assists, while his team outclassed Kriol S. (1-2) with 29-point margin 103-74. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. P.Luanda maintains the 3rd position in Basketball Africa League . P.Luanda is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-2 record. The second best player in last round's games was another P.Luanda's star - young Egyptian Patrick Gardner (211-C-1999). Gardner had a very good evening with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Bad luck as Atletico Petroleos de Luanda was edged by slightly higher-ranked

ASCVD (#1, 2-1) 65-64. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. P.Luanda still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 1-2 record. Gardner is a newcomer at P.Luanda, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American swingman Osiris Eldridge (191-F/G-1988) of league's second-best

U.S. Monastir. Eldridge scored 23 points and passed 5 assists. He was a key player of US Monastir, leading his team to a 87-73 easy win against #3 ranked P.Luanda. US Monastir needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost game. Eldridge has a great season in Basketball Africa League. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.7ppg (7th best), rebounds with 6.7rpg (7th best) and assists with 5.3apg (4th best).
