Baltimore weather: Warmth, wind to return; chance for snow Friday
After weeks of below-freezing temperatures, the Baltimore area is expected to see temperatures as high as 50 degrees this week, according to the National Weather Service.
Sunday is forecast to be cloudy with a high near 44. Windy conditions are expected with speeds ranging from 6 to 14 mph and gusts as high as 23 mph.

Sunday evening, winds are projected to die down. Conditions should be mostly cloudy with a low of 30.
Kicking off the workweek, Monday is predicted to be sunny with a high near 45. Wind speeds Monday are likely to be similar to those of Sunday, from 5 to 11 mph and gusts up to 20 mph.
Conditions are forecast to shift to partly cloudy headed into Monday evening with a low of 30.
Tuesday is projected to be partly sunny with a high near 44. Winds are expected to range from 9 to 14 mph with gusts up to 26 mph.
Tuesday night, conditions are forecast to be mostly cloudy with a low of 30.
Wednesday is expected to be partly sunny and the warmest day of the week with temperatures reaching 50. However, Wednesday is also projected to have the coldest evening with a low of 26.
Thursday is forecast to be sunny with a high near 38. Partly cloudy conditions are projected to set in Thursday night with a low around 26.
According to the NWS, Friday will be the week’s first chance for precipitation, with a 30% chance of rain and snow expected throughout the day. Conditions are forecast to be mostly sunny with a high near 42.
The 30% chance for rain and snow lasts throughout Friday night, which is projected to have a low of 28.
