Ather Energy and ThunderPlus have announced a partnership to allow electric vehicle users greater access to public charging infrastructure across India. Under the agreement, Ather customers will be able to use all 140 ThunderPlus charging hubs, which are located in 15 states and 40 cities.

The move is aimed at addressing a key concern for electric two-wheeler users—access to reliable charging points. By integrating their networks, the two companies aim to support the growth of electric mobility through infrastructure sharing.

Rajeev YSR, CEO, ThunderPlus, said, “The EV revolution will be won by collaboration, not competition. Our partnership with Ather Energy opens up 140+ ThunderPlus charging hubs overnight to their riders, reducing charging anxiety and increasing consumer confidence. We are also open to partnering with other OEMs to ensure that wherever EV users go, a ThunderPlus charger is never far away.”

The collaboration reflects a growing trend within the sector to build interoperable and shared networks rather than operating in silos. Both companies said the partnership is part of a broader effort to support the transition to electric transport.
