Armada Music signs recordings deal with UK dance artist SILK | Labels | Music Week
Armada Music has signed a long-term recordings deal with UK dance artist SILK.
“SILK has quickly become a leading name in the next generation of electronic music talent”, following the release of his 2022 breakout single Quiver, according to the announcement.
Under this new deal, Armada Music will lead on strategy across A&R, distribution, promotion and marketing, while leveraging its global infrastructure to expand SILK’s reach beyond the UK.
“The signing marks a significant addition to Armada’s growing UK roster and reinforces the label’s commitment to nurturing innovative talent from across the dance music spectrum,” added the statement.
SILK said: “It was a no-brainer to partner with Armada. The team has so much passion and expertise when it comes to dance music, so I’m confident they’ll be able to deliver in all the right places.”

The partnership kicks off with the release of SILK’s new single, I Need U, which drops on Friday (June 6). The track has already racked up more than 200,000 plays on SoundCloud, reaching No. 1 on the platform’s electronic chart.
I Need U also features in SILK’s viral DJ set filmed aboard a plane, which has amassed over 50 million views and six million likes across social media.
His previous releases have earned support from BBC Radio 1 Dance, Capital Dance and KISS Dance, while his Spotify following continues to grow, with over 250,000 monthly listeners.

The signing follows a string of UK-led additions to Armada’s roster, including long-term deals with D.O.D and Will Clarke.
