Anthony Davis returns and helps Mavs claim back 10th seed
There’s an argument to be made that the Kings are the worst of the 3 teams fighting for the last 2 play-in spots.
Suns have Durant, Booker & Beal, regardless of how their season has gone.
The Mavs have Anthony Davis back and are playing for their dignity after the Luka trade. – 1:01 AM

Mavericks cruise to a 19-point win over the Nets in AD’s return. He had 12-6-3-1-1 in 27 minutes. Seven players in double figures. They’ve got the Knicks tomorrow in MSG.

Wonderful start to the trip with a 19-point win at Brooklyn and the Mavericks now are 35-37. AD appeared to get through the game well and likely has two days now to recover. No back-to-backs expected. Mavs at Knicks tomorrow. – 9:45 PM

Mavericks are up by 14 at halftime (62-48) and also are plus-14 when Anthony Davis is on the floor. Coincidence? Don’t think so. The Mavs are doing everything better: rebounding, passing, defending. Washington with 11, Marshall with nine. AD with 6-5-3. – 8:37 PM

Couldn’t ask for a better first quarter in the first game back with Anthony Davis. Mavericks up 32-17 and Davis with six points, two rebounds, two assists and a block. And, biggest of all, 10 Mavs played. That hasn’t happened since the stone age, or thereabouts. – 8:08 PM

Jason Kidd responds to reports that Anthony Davis “pushed hard” to return from his injury this season:
“I think you have to commend him for working to get back because this is his job. He feels responsible to get back to work… He gets paid to play. I know you think this is a pic.x.com/ARqAlJYNun – 6:41 PM
