The company's aggressive expansion comes on the heels of an impressive 50% growth in the second half of 2024 compared to the previous year. Amazon Fresh has quickly become one of the fastest-growing categories on Amazon.in, offering a comprehensive range of products from fresh fruits and vegetables to dairy, frozen items, and personal care products.
Amazon says that central to Fresh's success is its robust sourcing network, which now includes over 11,000 farmers across India. The company says it remains committed to quality with its rigorous 4-step quality check process, ensuring that only the freshest and highest-quality products reach customers.
