Dancing With the Stars has found its next celebrity contestant.

ABC revealed Thursday that social media star Alix Earle will join the long-running competition show for its 34th season, which will kick off this fall.

Earle, who has amassed more than 7.5 million followers on TikTok and 4.3 million on Instagram, initially saw a rapid rise in fame on social media in 2022, before graduating from the University of Miami. Her most popular content consists of “get ready with me” (GRWM) videos, beauty tutorials and lifestyle tips. Earle also hosts her Hot Mess podcast.

Last month, ABC announced that conservationist and TV host Robert Irwin will also be joining season 34. Irwin’s casting was timed to the actual renewal of DWTS for season 34. He follows his older sister, Bindi Irwin, to the Dancing With the Stars stage. Bindi previously won the competition in the show’s 21st season in 2015 with her partner Derek Hough. Robert and Bindi Irwin are the children of the late Steve Irwin, TV’s famed “Crocodile Hunter.”

The full cast of celebrities and professional dancers for the upcoming season will be announced at a later date.

Former Bachelor star Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson won the season 33 Len Goodman Mirrorball trophy in November 2024.

Last season, the show ranked first among all network entertainment series among adults 18-49 in the fall, averaging a 0.86 rating after a week of viewing (not including streaming). It brought in 5.86 million total viewers, flat with its 2023 performance. (These days, “flat” is very good.)

The season 33 finale (7.95 million viewers, 1.55 rating in adults 18-49) saw the show’s biggest audience in more than three years.
