Albert Ojwang: Blogger's Dad Ask Questions Over Dead Son He Struggled to Raise Working in Quarry

Opiyo wants to know why his son had allegedly been sent to isolation, yet he had just posted a tweet.

"He was not a terrorist, what did he do to deserve isolation and not with other people who had been arrested," he said.
"My son is the only child; there is no daughter or son behind or in front of him. I have struggled in a quarry in Mombasa over 20 years to educate him. He was at Pwani University and graduated; I thought that he was going to help me in the future. My years are gone now, I can't raise another child again, when will I be done," he added.

In another story, the National Police Service (NPS) shared that Ojwang' was placed under arrest for allegedly publishing false information.

When Ojwang' got hurt, the NPS said he was rushed to Mbagathi Hospital, where he died.

According to Police Spokesperson Muchiri Nyaga, the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) has started a probe into the matter.
