President Bola Tinubu on Friday observed the defection of Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State from his living room in Lagos State.
In a video, Tinubu was seen sitting on a sofa while watching Eno’s defection from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The president also had the National Security Adviser, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu and two other personalities all glued to the television screen.
Eno had officially dumped the PDP for the APC at an event in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State Capital on Friday.
The event had in attendance APC governors like Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State.
Others include Monday Okpebholo of Edo State, and Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State.
While in PDP, Eno never hid his admiration for the APC and Tinubu.
The governor had openly endorsed Tinubu for a second term while faulting the leadership crisis within the PDP.
Meanwhile, Tinubu is currently in Lagos State to observe the Sallah holidays after which he will return to Abuja.
