A political group known as the Concerned Stakeholders of Abak 5 from Akwa Ibom North-West Senatorial District has declared its full support for the second-term ambitions of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Governor Pastor Umo Eno.

The declaration was made at a breakfast meeting in Uyo, where current and former political office holders from the five local government areas—Abak, Etim Ekpo, Ika, Ukanafun, and Oruk Anam—gathered to express satisfaction with the policies and programs of the Tinubu administration and the developmental progress in Akwa Ibom State.

The stakeholders emphasized the importance of continuity in leadership for sustained progress and pledged to mobilize grassroots support ahead of the 2027 elections.

Prominent voices at the meeting included former Ukanafun Local Government Chairman, Right Honourable Uko Idiong; former Vice Chairman of Oruk Anam, Hon. Okokon Etiebet; and former Councillor Hon. Nsikak Idem.

They praised Tinubu’s leadership, Akpabio’s political vision, and Governor Eno’s developmental strides.

Also speaking were APC Ukanafun Chapter Chairman Akaninyene Ukpanah, Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President, Obong (Barr.) Freedom Ibritam, and APC Women Leader in Ukanafun, Hon. Uduak Friday.

They called for sustained collaboration and political harmony across party lines to ensure regional stability and development.

Idiong stated, “We, the Abak 5 political bloc, declare our support for the second-term ambitions of President Tinubu, Senate President Akpabio, and Governor Umo Eno. With our collective votes, we will reelect these leaders who have demonstrated a strong capacity to lead.”

The meeting marks a decisive political move by the Abak 5 bloc, signaling firm support for leadership at federal, senatorial, and state levels.
