Africa Tech Summit 2025: 15 Kenyan Companies Ranked among 55 Finalists for ATS Awards

Nairobi, Kenya – The Africa Tech Summit Awards has announced its 2025 finalists competing for recognition as top companies driving innovation and impact across Africa’s technology sector.

Among the 55 selected companies, 15 Kenyan firms have made it to the finals, highlighting the country’s growing influence in the African tech ecosystem.
The winners will be revealed on February 13, 2025, during the awards ceremony at the Africa Tech Summit in Nairobi. The summit, scheduled for February 12-13 at the Sarit Expo Centre, will bring together over 2,000 industry leaders and more than 1,000 companies.
This will provide a platform for networking, collaboration, and knowledge sharing to enhance tech development in Africa.
The Africa Tech Summit Awards will recognise achievements in 11 sector categories and two individual categories.
The finalists were selected from a competitive pool of over 300 applications, with a panel of independent judges evaluating candidates based on innovation, impact, scalability, and relevance to the African market.
Lauren Adair, Director of Africa Tech Summit, expressed excitement about the awards, stating,
“We’re delighted to announce the finalists for the inaugural Africa Tech Summit Awards. With over 300 entries, our judges had the tough task of narrowing it down to only five finalists in each category. All the finalists are transforming their sectors and driving growth across the continent, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements in Nairobi next month.”
Kenyan companies have demonstrated excellence across various categories. Below are the Kenyan companies that have been selected among five finalists in each award category.
All finalists will receive tickets to the Africa Tech Summit Nairobi, gaining industry recognition and networking opportunities with investors and potential partners.
Winners in each category will receive the prestigious Africa Tech Summit Award, further solidifying their status as key players in Africa’s digital transformation.
As reported earlier on , the Africa Tech Summit 2025 in Nairobi will feature top executives and experts from leading global companies, including Abi Ajayi from the London Stock Exchange, John Adelana from AWS Services, Moya Novella from IBM, and Jo Eyre from Vodacom Communications.
The event will also host key fintech and blockchain leaders like Victor Alade, Richard Oyome, and Beverly Ezeebuilke from Binance, along with Edidiong “Didi” Uwemakpan and Peter Oriaifo from Moniepoint.
Other notable speakers include Daniel Kimocho from the Celo Foundation, Scott Onder from Mercy Corps, and Wole Ayodele from Fonus. Notably 112 speakers will be sharing insights during the two-day event.
