The Ghana Russia Centre for Commerce and Relations expects to connect Russian businesses with opportunities in Ghana by improving access to information on regulations and key sectors like oil and gas, mining, fintech, and cybersecurity, Aggrey said. He noted that Russian IT solutions could help address African security challenges."Africa entering free trade is a major plus for the African continent," Aggrey said.He highlighted growing Russia-Africa trade in national currencies, in line with BRICS’ de-dollarization efforts. Aggrey believes cooperation between BRICS and the African Continental Free Trade Area can bring major benefits.Africans and Russians share the same values, such as respect for sovereignty, family, and cultural identity, Aggrey added.
