last year seen in the Hrithik Roshan starrer 'Fighter' will be sharing the screen with 'KGF' star Yash in the upcoming pan-India film, 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups'. Recently the actor confirmed the involvement of the 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal' actress in the

During an interview with Digital Commentary, Oberoi confirmed that Nayanthara will also play a significant role in this action thriller directed by
Geethu Mohandas
.
In his interview, Oberoi expressed his excitement about working on 'Toxic', stating that he is currently shooting for the film alongside Yash. He mentioned Nayanthara's involvement in the film but refrained from discussing the full cast. He said, "I’m shooting for Toxic right now with rocking star Yash. Nayanthara is also part of the movie. I shouldn’t talk about the cast much because the makers won’t like it. Also, I’m a big fan of director Geetu Mohandas."
It has been speculated that the 'Jawan' actress may portray Yash's elder sister in the movie, which would mark an exciting collaboration between the two stars.
Earlier Bollywood's Kareena Kapoor Khan was set to make her Kannada debut with this project however due to the issue with the dates, she was replaced by Lady Superstar Nayanthara.
Kiara Advani plays the female lead in the film opposite Yash as his love interest. Tara Sutaria and Shruti Haasan are rumoured to be part of the cast, although these details have not yet been officially confirmed.
'Toxic' is expected to be an action-packed thriller centred around the drug trade in Goa. A recent teaser released on Yash's birthday showcased him in a stylish all-white outfit walking with aura inside a casino.
The movie is announced to be released on April 10th, 2025, however, speculations loom over that the project might get delayed.
