AAT Kings simplifies rail and coach travel for agents
AAT Kings has unveiled a new initiative aimed at helping travel agents create and sell seamless, multi-modal travel experiences across Australia. The ‘AAT Kings Meets Train’ program combines the comfort of AAT Kings’ expert-guided coach tours with some of Australia’s most iconic rail journeys, offering a streamlined way to showcase the best of the country.
To support the rollout, AAT Kings has released a dedicated agent guide and a brand-new episode of its popular A-LISTERS podcast, both focused exclusively on the Meets Train program. These resources are designed to help agents understand itinerary pairings, improve their product knowledge, and confidently present rail-and-coach options to their clients.
The initiative is part of AAT Kings’ broader commitment to making domestic travel easy to sell and even easier to enjoy. The new guide clearly outlines key travel combinations, such as pairing The Ghan with the Outback Adventure tour, or matching an Indian Pacific journey with a Kangaroo Island escape from Adelaide.
“These handpicked combinations take the stress out of the logistics around itinerary planning for agents while giving travellers a richer, more seamless and more scenic experience,” said Ben Hall, CEO of AAT Kings Group.
“It’s about helping travellers experience Australia with more freedom, and with less effort.”
The AAT Kings Meets Train program brings together bucket-list rail journeys—The Ghan, Indian Pacific, and Great Southern—with AAT Kings’ signature guided itineraries. Whether it’s traversing the Red Centre or exploring coastal highlights, each journey is carefully curated for scenic appeal, comfort, and ease of travel.
The podcast episode features insider commentary from AAT Kings experts, providing selling strategies, destination highlights, and practical tips for agents looking to grow their domestic bookings.
Both the downloadable agent guide and the new A-LISTERS podcast episode are now live on the AAT Kings agent portal and A-LIST ACCESS website, providing a central hub for trade partners to explore the new offering.
