Myron Williams of Newark convicted alongside co-defendants in sweeping federal case targeting Jersey City street gang tied to three homicides and widespread narcotics sales. Myron Williams, 31, of Newark, a member of the violent Marion Gardens street gang, was sentenced on June 17 to two consecutive life terms plus an additional 30 years in prison for a series of gang-related crimes, including murder, drug trafficking, and weapons offenses. U.S. District Judge Michael E. Farbiarz imposed the sentence following Williams’s convictions for racketeering conspiracy, murder in aid of racketeering, possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, and use of a firearm during a crime of violence.
