90 Day: Hunt for Love star Tiffany Franco revealed how her weight loss has affected her dating life during an exclusive interview with In Touch.

“I thought it would really change the way I approach dating or change the way, you know, like my confidence. But I realized very quickly that weight does not … weight and confidence don’t really go together,” Tiffany, 33, told In Touch about her weight loss journey while attending Us Weekly’s celebration for 90 Day: Hunt for Love on Monday, May 19. “Yes, it helps and it boosts a little bit, but the confidence thing should always be there no matter the size.”

After noting that she lost “over a hundred pounds,” Tiffany said she used to believe she would instantly “feel better” after losing “all the weight.

“The work started after I dropped the weight and I was like, ‘Wait a minute, now I need to teach myself where the confidence is supposed to come from,’” she continued. “So, you know, you still have that mentality of like, ‘Ooh, I can’t wear that. Ooh, am I good enough for this?’ And then you really have to, you know, heal yourself and fight hard to get rid of those thoughts … You know, that’s probably the toughest part of all of it.”

Tiffany added, “But I think I’ve come really far there where, you know, I think I finally have the courage to tell myself and actually believe that, like, I have a lot to bring to the table, so I should only expect the same from someone else.”

The TV personality went on to note that she has felt pressured from others to keep the weight off. “I think especially after losing the amount of weight that I lost … it’s not a bad thing and people don’t do it intentionally, but there’s almost so much pressure from the outside world of like, ‘Whoa, you lost a hundred something pounds, so you should be perfect. You should have amazing confidence. You should be completely fit and tone.’”

“Everyone’s body takes losing weight differently,” Tiffany continued. “And everyone, you know, takes a certain amount of time to get to the point where they’re like, ‘Wait a minute. OK, I did the weight loss, I did the exercise. Now I’m fit, firm and all that.’ But yeah, people just kind of put a lot of pressure on you to lose all the weight, so now what? You’re perfect.”

She continued, “And if you’re not perfect and you don’t feel perfect, then people are like, ‘Well, what’s wrong with you?’”

Despite admitting that losing weight hasn’t fixed all of her problems, Tiffany insisted that she’s proud of her progress. “I definitely am. Like I said, everyone has their days,” she said. “But I’m very happy.”

Fans first got to know Tiffany when she and her estranged husband, , documented their relationship on season 1 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way in 2019.
