"90 Day Fiance" Star Angela Deem Claims in Court Filing That Ex Michael Ilesanmi Abused Her & Fathered a Child With Another Woman After Arriving in the U.S. - The Ashley's Reality Roundup
As continues to fight to have her marriage to annulled, the star is now claiming that her estranged husband was abusive towards her and that he fathered a child with another woman after he arrived in the United States.
As fans know, Angela filed for an annulment last summer, claiming that her Nigerian husband allegedly “fraudulently induced [her] into a marriage for the purpose of gaining legal permanent resident status in the United States.” Michael– who is seeking a divorce in lieu of an annulment– had denied the allegations of fraud and insisted that he did not abandon Angela when he disappeared from her Hazelhurst, Georgia, home in February 2024, but rather “fled an abusive situation for his own safety.”

Last month, Michael’s attorney filed to have Angela’s motion for annulment dismissed, to which Angela’s attorney has now filed a counter motion. In the new court filing, according to Starcasm, the self-proclaimed “Seksi Mee-Maw” accuses Michael of abuse and of “purportedly” impregnating and welcoming a child with a woman after he arrived in the United States.
The filing– first reported by Kiki and Kibbitz on Instagram– goes on to claim that Michael has had “multiple female paramours, which he boldly touts on various social media platforms.” It also accuses the former TLC star of using his knowledge of immigration law to “coach other would-be romancers to prey on unsuspecting women in search of love and companionship.”
While there’s been no confirmation that Michael did, in fact, father a child after arriving in the United States, Angela’s filing also alleges that she was abused and was the “suffering party” in her marriage– not Michael, who previously accused Angela of such behavior.

“While the Defendant purports to have suffered ‘egregious’ examples of control and abuse, the suffering party is the Plaintiff,” the filing states. “The Defendant has hit and slapped the Plaintiff about the head and face, and has grabbed her wrists so forcefully to have caused her skin to be torn and bloody.”
As told you last month, as part of Michael’s motion to dismiss Angela’s complaint for annulment, Michael’s attorney argued that the former couple’s marriage does not qualify for an annulment and that, according to the State of Georgia, it’s considered a valid marriage. Michael’s attorney argued that Angela herself had admitted this– among other shocking details– as part of her and Michael’s annulment case, in which she had been required to admit or deny a lengthy list of facts presented by Michael’s attorney.

In addition to Angela admitting that the elements of a valid marriage were met in her and Michael’s union, she admitted that Michael sent her more than $200,000 via wire transfers between May 2018 and December 2023. (Both parties also reportedly sent money to each other before and after tying the knot and both confirmed that they opened a joint checking account after Michael arrived in the United States in late 2023.)
Angela also admitted in court documents that she traveled to Nigeria at some point and physically attempted to “destroy” Michael’s vehicle. She also owned up to destroying at least one of Michael’s cellphones during their relationship; however, she has maintained that many damning scenes from the “90 Day Fiance” franchise were “TLC scripted” and insists that Michael was “acutely aware” of this fact in certain cases.
Per the latest court filing, Angela’s attorney is requesting that Michael’s motion for divorce be dismissed and for an annulment to be granted.
