2025 Fox Raceway National Results, Coverage, and Standings
Riders returning from Supercross injuries locked out the overall podium at the 2025 Pro Motocross Championship Series opening round at Fox Raceway in Southern California. Jett Lawrence won both motos by over 11 seconds and led every lap, though he withstood unrelenting pressure from Eli Tomac until the last three laps of the second moto. Tomac’s 4-2 day was good enough for P2 overall, with Hunter Lawrence’s 3-4 card earning him the final Fox Raceway National podium position.

Defending Pro Motocross Champion Chase Sexton discarded his goggles on the first lap of Moto 1. On lap 5, while running in P4, Sexton crashed hard, ending his day.
Aaron Plessinger took P4 overall, with a 5-3 result. However, Plessinger was 48 seconds behind Jett in Moto 1 and nearly 27 seconds back in the second moto. Justin Cooper took P2 in the opening moto. However, Cooper was never more than one position away from his P8 spot the entire second moto. That put Cooper in P5 overall.

Also returning from injury were Jorge Prado and Jason Anderson. Prado’s 7-6 day put him in P6 overall, one spot clear of Anderson, who was 9-5 at Fox Raceway.

The 2025 Pro Motocross Championship Series resumes on Saturday at Northern California’s Prairie City SVRA in Rancho Cordova for the Hangtown Motocross Classic. Check out our 2025 Pro Motocross Television Schedule for viewing details.
