Medeama Sporting Club marked the return of the Ghana Premier League with a superb comeback win over Bechem United at the T&A Park.
The visitors started the stronger of the two, and were rewarded after just 6 minutes, when Darlvin Yeboah fired home for a 1-0 lead.
However, Ibrahim Tanko’s men recovered in no time and drew level just 9 minutes later, after Osah Tetteh's was shot deflected into the net by Kamaradini.
The score remained level at the break, despite Medeama going close a couple of times before halftime.
Medeama came out of the tunnel with renewed energy, and continued to mount pressure on the Bechem goal.
The reward final came on the 67th minute,
when Michael Sarpong was on hand to tuck home to make it 2-1.
Kelvin Nkrumah put the cherry on top, deep into injury time, with a well taken goal, to seal the comeback.
Medeama climbed up to 5th on the table with the win, while Bechem drop to 7th.
