They hired Karl Smesko as their new head coach after losing to the New York Liberty in the first round of the playoffs and firing Tanisha Wright. In free agency, they made a huge move and signed Brittney Griner, who had previously played with the Phoenix Mercury her entire career.
The Dream also added more talent including Brionna Jones and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough, who will bring depth to the team. With a young core of Rhyne Howard, Allisha Gray, and others, the Dream are looking to go to the next level and it starts in the offseason.
Outside of basketball, other amazing things happen during the offseason, and Gray had some amazing news to share recently. Gray was proposed to by her long-time boyfriend Tim Magnum Jr. on March 29. According to The Knot , the two were introduced through A'ja Wilson in college.
