1 transported after Harrison County residence catches fire
WOLF SUMMIT, W.Va. (WBOY) — One person was taken to the hospital Wednesday night after a fire broke out at a house just west of Wolf Summit.
According to officials with the Harrison County 911 Center, at around 8:22 p.m., crews were alerted to a structure fire on Maken Road, just off of U.S. 50. Crews that arrived on the scene said they found smoke showing and then a working fire.

One person was transported from the scene by ground, and the extent of their injuries is unknown. 911 officials told 12 News that most crews were still on the scene as of 9:20 p.m.
Crews with the Anmoore Fire Department, Nutter Fort Fire Department, Reynoldsville Volunteer Fire Department, Salem Fire Department, Spelter Volunteer Fire Department, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office and Harrison County EMS responded to the call.
